The nonprofit, membership buyers’ club is a form of organization that has been used by people with HIV for more than a decade. Its basic idea is that cooperative sharing of knowledge and pooling of resources is a powerful way to maintain good health and increase your own sense of well-being, both physical and mental. The NYBC is dedicated to just this kind of cooperation, and lencourages input—knowledge, experience, time, energy—from anyone affected by HIV, hepatitis, or other chronic illness.

What makes New York Buyers' Club different from other New York AIDS Service Organizations (ASO)?
NYBC is unique among New York ASO's because it actually stocks and sells the nutritional supplements that are generally recognized to be useful in managing HIV/Hepatitis and coping with the side effects that often result from medications. NYBC works with ASO's that provide nutritional counseling and information about nutritional supplements but it goes one step further by locating high-quality supplements and buying them in quantity so that it can offer them to its membership at the lowest possible cost.
